Lectures 2005
A get together party to bring old and new members to interact, network and forge a new beginning for the year ahead.
March: ‘Black History’ Black history lecture as a foundation to validate and prepare for the bigger one in June.
April: ‘Who is an African’ The identity issues, crisis and debate among the black race on the "African Identity will be discussed extensively where understanding and resolutions shall be attained.
May: ‘Pan-Africanism’ An eye opening lecture on understanding the origin, meaning and relevance of this family union of the black race.
June: ‘Black History Month' May 30th , July 1st and the weather are the determining factors in the dates chosen for this celebration of our "Past, Present, and future based on "Culture, "Music", "Exhibitions", "Foods", "Lectures", and "Discussions" about us for us and by us.
July: ‘Black Enterprises’ Pioneers, professionals, entrepreneurs and business executives of Black origin are to show case their successes as a motivation to others in the form of workshops, lectures and trainings.
August: ‘Slavery/ Kwakoe Festival’ A two week slavery lecture on fundamental questions about the history, before the beginning of the Kwakoe festival to give meaning and the purpose of the festival.
September: ‘Natural health/Living’ "Health is Wealth", so a healthy populace makes a wealthy nation in this age of synthetic food and environment. Natural health and living for black people will be taught.
October: ‘Globalization and Africans’ The effect of globalization on black peoples all over the world will be debated to highlight the positive and negative side and dwell on which has been beneficial.
November: ‘The Black Family’ Family is the pivot of a nation, so is the black family as the backbone of our race issues, tradition and the return to the positive African family culture of "Respect" emphasized.
December: ‘End of the year party'/Kwanza Celebration of the success and reflection on the year 2005. Observance of 'Kwanza' as a gathering of black family union between 26th Dec-2nd January.
